So once, when I was out photographing at a completely respectful distance, by the way, this crow flipped out and started to genuinely attack. It squawked at me: flapped its wings at me, puffed its chest out, and while I was mildly paralyzed, it even dive-bombed me within 20-seconds.
As I fled, I wondered what the hell I did: like, I cannot emphasize this enough, I was not close-by whatsoever. I didn’t even have a flash on - why is it trying to MURDER ME?
HOW DID I INCUR IT’S WRATH?
Anyway, I later found out crows can remember faces up to 17 years.
I’ve never returned to that spot.
I’m too terrified it will recognize me.
